Job Summary: :
Swayam Shikshan Prayog (SSP) is seeking an experienced candidate for the position of Fundraising and Partnerships Director to lead our fundraising efforts and support our mission. He/she will be responsible for raising funds to meet our annual targets, building and maintaining a pipeline of prospective donors, engaging with existing donors, and ensuring prompt communication and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of fundraising success, excellent communication skills, and a passion for using their skills to drive social impact.
Location:
Core Responsibilities:
1. Fundraising:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to meet SSP’s annual targets.
- Identify, research, and cultivate a pipeline of prospective donors, including individuals, corporations, and foundations.
- Build relationships with existing donors, steward their giving, and ensure prompt communication and reporting.
2. Donor Engagement:
- Develop and implement a donor engagement plan to retain and upgrade existing donors.
- Ensure prompt and personalized communication with donors, including acknowledgments, updates, and reports.
3. Fundraising CRM:
- Maintain and update our fundraising CRM to track donor interactions, gifts, and pledges.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
4. Events and Outreach:
- Attend conferences, seminars, and other outreach events to spread the word about SSP and raise funds.
- Collaborate with the team to organize fundraising events, campaigns, and activities.
5. Reporting and Analysis:
- Monitor and report on fundraising progress, including income, expenses, and pipeline growth.
- Analyse data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, and adjust strategies accordingly.
Requirements:
Education: Post Graduate degree in a related field (e.g., marketing, communications, non-profit management).
2. Experience: Minimum 5+ years of fundraising experience, preferably in the NGO sector.
3. Skills:
- Proven track record of fundraising success, with a focus on individual and corporate giving.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in fundraising CRM software and Microsoft Office.
